However, when it comes to failing to match words with deeds, Monty has at least developed a bit of a rival in Ian Poulter, who not so long ago revealed that he saw himself as the only challenger to Woods. It would be a bit unfair to describe Poulter as all mouth and trousers, but he'll remain better known for his designer strides than his golfing strides until he at least mounts a serious challenge for a major.
